Reporting stopped on Cisco WSA

March 4, 2016

Reporting stopped working after AsyncOS upgrade on the WSA.

Solution:

1. Re-start reporting process from the WSA CLI (see below):

{WSA Hostname}> diagnostic
Choose the operation you want to perform:
- NET - Network Diagnostic Utility.
- PROXY - Proxy Debugging Utility.
- REPORTING - Reporting Utilities.
{WSA Hostname}> reporting

The reporting system is currently enabled.

Choose the operation you want to perform:
- DELETEDB - Reinitialize the reporting database.
- DISABLE - Disable the reporting system.
{WSA Hostname}> disable
Disabling reporting......
The reporting system is currently disabled.
Wait for 60 seconds
Choose the operation you want to perform:
- DELETEDB - Reinitialize the reporting database.
- ENABLE - Enable the reporting system.
{WSA Hostname}> enable
Reporting enabled.
The reporting system is currently enabled

2. If the above does not recover Reporting, then schedule a reboot of the WSA via CLI command ‘reboot’
