Lotus Notes – “Document has been deleted” error message

Permanent Fix:

  1. Rename that Data folder under the user’s profile
  1. In domino console run the following commands:
    1. load compact mail\(username).nsf
    2. load fixup mail\(username).nsf
    3. load updall mail\(username).nsf
  1. Run Lotus Notes and create the users profile


Temporary Workaround:

  1. Close and reopen the Inbox tab (mail tab)
  2. If message in question still appears delete it
